Farmer makes hyacinth fertiliser - The Star, Kenya

A farmer in Siaya has invented fertiliser from water hyacinth collected in Lake Victoria.

Twenty-nine-year-old Collins Omondi said it took him one-and-a- half years to come up with the invention.
